My Story

 

Motivational books and self-discovery along with food and cooking have been passions in my life.  I have worked in the healthcare industry for the past fifteen years and have learned the importance of eating healthy. Both taste and eating nutritiously are important to sustaining balanced eating habits that will keep your body nourished.

I am a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, IIN Certified Health Coach and Chef in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma helping clients all over the world. I specialize in professional cooking techniques, whole food recipes, and joyful eating.

I founded Motivational Cooking to explore the wonderful experience of food and healthy cooking to improve one's overall well-being. I believe that by using high-quality healthy ingredients while enjoying the cooking process, the food will nourish the body it feeds. If the cooking experience can be improved, people will cook more and therefore become healthier.

 

The "You Turn Health Coaching Program" was created to help clients reach their health goals through 1-on-1 personal coaching consulting clients to establish realistic goals and stick to the program we design together. This program will further help identify primary foods (career, relationships, physical activity, and spirituality) that may be influencing unhealthy choices you may be making in your life. 

When I’m not helping clients reach their ideal health goals, you can find me meditating, buying fresh food at the farmers market, and trying new recipes at home.

Education and Experience

I graduated from the Mid America Christian University earning my B.A. in Management and Ethics and a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu in Pennsylvania. I am currently a student at Integrative Nutrition where I am learning innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques, and studying over 100 dietary theories – Ayurveda, gluten-free, Paleo, raw, vegan, macrobiotics, and everything in between.

My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge of healthy cooking, techniques, and holistic health coaching. Drawing on my expertise, I work with my clients to help make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.
